Supplementary Grade Information 2012
Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) 2013 revision
As part of the 2013 revision of Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE), we can
now reveal details of the new combined Reading and Use of English paper.
Find out why these two papers have been combined, what the new paper will
look like and how the changes make the exam even more suitable for higher
education and professional purposes.

New Pass with Distinction Grade
From September sessions, candidates taking Cambridge English: Key for Schools (KET for Schools), Cambridge English:Preliminary (PET), Cambridge English: Preliminary for Schools (PET for Schools) and Cambridge English: Business Preliminary (BEC Preliminary) will be able to earn a new Pass with Distinction grade if they achieve a score of 90 or above on the exam (85 for BEC Preliminary which is graded in a slightly different way).
Candidates who achieve the new grade will also have a higher CEFR level shown on their certificates - B1 for KET and KET for Schools candidates and B2 for PET, PET for Schools and BEC Preliminary).
